New MSN Mobile - Hotmail location?

I recently downloaded and installed (and signed up for my free 6 months) the new MSN Mobile widget.

It correctly displays the number of new email items I have in my inbox on the Today screen. But when I click on the envelope icon, it takes me to my default Active Sync empty Inbox.

Anyone else encountered this? Do I need to do something to set the email feature up? (I did check the box to download messages).

Thanks!

Only way I would sign up for that would be if they increased my hotmail storage.

from MSN...

The way I read the read site, I think the email should appear in the Inbox on my Axim. Especially since clicking on the envelope icon takes me there - there just isn't any mail...

It seems like it's not done testing and being designed, which is why they're giving out 6 months free.

Here's what the web site had to say:

With Pocket MSN your Hotmail is conveniently integrated into your device inbox and using the MSN toolbar icons you can see how many new emails you have received.

My guess is that you did not set-it up correctly. However, you can have hotmail integration for $5 (one time fee instead of $50 every year) via the HTTPMail Provider (http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=9539)

Possible...

It is possible it didn't install correctly, but I'm not sure I could have made a mistake. All you do is double click on the executable and it adds itself to the queue for installation. Once installed I just provide my MSN/Hotmail/Passport info.

I emailed Tech Support... the sites promises a response in 24 hours. Took about 4 days and the person didn't read my message since he/she asked for all the information I had already provided. Typical... :/ (I didn't bother resubmitting it.)

Anyhow in the past I have used HTTPMail and been very happy with it. I was hoping this would add usefule and/or interesting features. Sadly, it doesn't do anything more than my installed programs - in fact it does less. Ah well, it's obviously not ready for prime time.
