ActiveSync Add/Remove Programs

I was trying to install the Adobe Acrobat reader for PPC 2002 and I noticed that at the end the Add/Remove program dialog box opens up and closes pretty quickly and the Reader never gets installed on the PPC (Axim 3i)

I have tried this many times using the cradle as well as WiFi, same thing. Soft Reset. Same thing.

This also happens installing other programs like SPB PocketPlus.

Also, trying to open the dialog box from within ActiveSynch exhibits the same behavior.

Any clues as to what is going on?

Only that Acrobat is a big beast in terms of memory and you may have insufficient space in the default location.

If the SBS is a plug-in it should really go in the default location: check that you have sufficient space.

tried so many things and still the same problem.

I finally re-installed ActiveSync 3.7.1 on top of the previous install. Now it works like a charm.
