Axim SD/MMC compatibility, upgradability?

I hear alot about cool accessories available for pda's with cf card readers, but since I own a LAXim Mid I'm stuck oogling the SD Card accessories often wondering wether they are compatible with the X30's SD reader. It's difficult for newbies like me to know for sure if our models support MMC 4.0 cards or SDIO full requirement cards like HP's digital camera card or the 2GB storage card . Could an expert give us the low down on the X30's SD capabilities?

this would be nice to know and i've been scouring the site and google for the answers to no avail.

some people say speed (2mb/s vs 10mb/s) doesn;t matter, some folks say it does. ("some folks will never eat a skunk, but then again some folk'll"... sorry, thats what that sentence reminds me of)

does the x30 support the next gen MMC?

Unless the manufacture's states it supports "Model XX of Vendor Y" device, it probably won't work.

Having a PDA support SDIO is the first thing. But the SDIO device manf must support the PDA via a driver. In almost all cases, this driver is model specific.
