Problem with Letter recognizer

HI everybody!

I had my X30 for a couple of weeks now and am very satisfied except for on a tiny thing.

I can’t get the accented characters option to work. I live in Sweden so the Swedish characters åäö are very crucial to me.

I have checked the option for activating the accented characters under input settings, but it still doesn’t work. I had an iPAQ before I upgraded to the X30 so I know how this is supposed to work.

When I enter any accented character it seems like the X30 draws the character but then immediately erases (we are talking about milliseconds here, its barely visible).

I called DELL support and they were able to replicate my error on one of theirs X30s. Does anybody else out there have this problem? And is there anyone who knows a solution to this error?

I suspect it’s a bug in DELLs implementation of PPC 2003SE. and probably will need some sort of patch.
