A final question b4 buying X30H

I'm pretty much sold with the X30 high. It needs just one more click of my mouse for the order to go through.

I just wanted to know whether I get billed right after ordering the Axim or do I get billed later...3-4 weeks from now, before they ship it to me? I'm guessing right away, but I want to know first hand from the people who have already been billed.

from my experience, they "reserve" the amount on your credit card as soon as you place the order and "finalize" it upon delivery. thwe only diff is that when reserved, it's easier to charge back if you cancel. if finalized, it takes 2 weeks before you get your money back.

also, unless you're willing to wait for a month, buy from ebay. just make sure the ownership is transferred under your name for warranty/support purposes.

I ordered my X30 high 2 weeks ago. Still no charge on my credit card.

Then again I still don't have my X30 High.:rolling:

I ordered my X30H using the Dell Perferred Account, they reserved the amount right away but I wasnt bill yet.

A week later they decided to reserve the same amount again. I thought I was gonna get double billed but I got that straightened out.
