cannot control!

Hi, how come I can control some devices thru my infra red from my X30. I have learned the remote control but however it just cannot get the VCR or TV to receive and response. however some other brands will work.

i m really trouble. can anyone advise?

I had that problem with programs that require a code number for brand. It is indicative of a number that is close but not perfect for that brand. I assume you are using this kind of number based, if not I don't know.

I reccomend www.pdawin.com for their 5.5 remote. I control lots of stuff with it. It isn't just a toy for me... my receiver cost hundreds of dollars but came with a poorly designed flip top remote. When the 'flip' broke it became a huge hassle. We have replaced it with the Axim remote and now it is no problem.
