Don't think its the extended battery...I ordered the Dell 1800 extended battery 7/28/04 and received it today 8/2/04 must be something else...

It's not the battery, it's not the memory, it's not the cpu, hell it's DELL! They've got to learn how to do business right, before it all goes to HP/Compaq. :hide:

I would post a message for wmcjhi. I saw a picture of him answering phones at the Dell CS center somewhere...

definately give Dell CS a call and maybe they can throw something in for your heartache. Maybe a SD card or something. Get on them otherwise you will be waiting till they get around to it.

Thanks for the advice, I checked and my order is ENROUTE!!! will arrive tomorrow (8/4) which is technically on or before 10/11 I guess. The best part was the second time I called in I got this girl from ...I am guessing....India, Bangladesh or a Cabbie in Downtown NY? Sweet girl, spoke a unique version of english. I don' t know for sure, but I think we discussed the order, or she may have been offering to marry me....I sure hope it is the former since I am pretty certain my wife would rather I got a Dell than another wife.

At first Dell said mine would ship 7-29-04. I had requested over night shipping. I then got an -email saying it wouldn't ship till 8-10-04. I was like ^w+f' at first. I did get it on 7-30-04 though.
