Hey all...

UCC (Cariboo) eh? I'm going to Kwantlen now myself...

Kwantlen sucks, no wifi anywhere and very anti-technological...the computer lab is running PIIIs on WinNT4.

That said I plan to go to Carleton University in Ottawa next fall (anyone know if they have wifi????) and I plan to use it quite extensively over there...

As for student software, I loved 4.0 Student on my Visor Neo back in the day, but now, 2 PDAs and an OS later I'm still looking for the ultimate organizer tool for my Axim...

I would love to use my Axim at my school right now, but its not out yet...so I will wait and see how long Dell takes to bring out the X50...I am not counting on anything until the end of the year, but thats ok, I still have next year and three more years after that to use.

I plan on using it on campus for many things, but I also plan on getting the ext. keyboard and type up the lecture notes on it. I am rather fast using a keyboard, much faster then writing; and neater also.

Go Eagles!! ERAU.edu

I'm looking for good student software too. If anyone knows any, let me know.

I go to Concordia University in Montreal and wifi in school is superb. Ever building is connected.

My school (Purdue) was rated #2 'unwired' school in the nation by Intel this year. The coverage is fantastic. I love using my PDA to check email and stuff while in class, but more functionality would be nice. I need something like Tasks on steroids...I don't know what I'm looking for, exactly, but I don't use Tasks because I find it a bit cumbersome. I'm going to check out the class software suggested in this thread, but if anyone has some enhanced "to do" software that they really like, please let me know.
