Streaming

Hi,
I just wanted to know if anybody knew how to stream video files or mp3 files with the axim via wifi. Or is it even possible/impossible?
And if possible with what program since the file explorer doesn't want to stream a single file even though there is no pbl copying it.

use shoutcast to stream
http://www.shoutcast.com
and use GSPlayer to open a file over LAN

You mean to use shoutcast if I want to stream on my server, right?

I didn't know gsplayer so I will try that, thx for the answer

Dig the forum and try to find info about Windows media Encoder.

I was able to stream just fine using either NetUse (free) or Resco File Explorer to map my network drives.

I currenty have my itunes folder shared and can play any mp3s in media player. I also have a folder shared for my TV programs which are recoreded in mpg format and then automatically reencoded to a smaller .wmv format (www.snapstream.com) and streamed over wifi to my axim. It plays fullscreen with no problems!
