Wireless Internet Connection

I just got my X30 last week and I'm trying to connect to the internet. After I enable wireless and I'm in a "hotspot", after a few seconds it tells me I have a connection and everything seems to be in order - three to four bars are green and the Odeyssey Client is black. When I check settings and connectiong is also looks like everything is in order. Yet, when I try to connect using internet explorer nothing happens. If I'm in the same spot with me PC - which has wireless - I get connected no problem. What am I doing wrong? :rolling:

Try disabling Odeyssey Client. I keep mine disabled and I have no problen connecting.

yea, i just use the Dell WLAN utility, no need for odessey client. I believe using both would make conflict, sometimes i have to re-enable wireless to get the internet working.

This may seem stupid, but I have seen it before. When you first connect, pocket explorer defaults to a dead link, but it is really working. Try typing in a known good website, like cnn.com or something.

Yes, I noted the same thing, connects fine, but the homepage is a dud.

IS there a way to set the home page to a different URL?

Call up the page you want to set as the home page. Tap tools/options. tap use current.

Okay I got it to take me to google.com...because I went through history under view. But when I try to search with google it doesn't do anything. i don't have my sd card yet. should the available memory make a difference? Still confused.

I also have to do a soft reset quite often to get a site up.
I know everything is connected just no web pages ....
As soon as i soft reset i connect everytime.
Any suggestions?
