change to 480 x 640 res?

Hi, i'm just wondering if you can change the QVGA to VGA display with any software? Also the Irda distance sucks on mine...any one else have an issue with it? At the end of the day though i love my X30 :)

my ir range is good, 16-20 feet

nyditot Dot pocket will change resolution, i have not tried it though.

if I understand correctly...if i can change to a 480 x 640 resolution then veiwing my docs will be better..right?

Physicsl resolition is fixed at 240x320. Nydiot gives you a larger virtual screen, of which only piece can be displayed on the physical screen, with scrolling to see the whole virtual screen.

It also has a .. uh .. i dont know how to describe it other then a 'fake' resolution, meaning you wont have to scroll around to see the
whole screen, but it will NOT look good, because its not true vga..
even though I dont think true vga would look that good either.. but
just my opinion. check out their website. they have some screen shots.
