Red twinkling power button while power is less then 20%.

, everyone! Finally I've got my axim x30 312Mhz :)
I'm in love with DELL company as it proved. :approve: I have had HP 3850, 3870, FSC Loox 600, HP 2215 before. And now I amazed about DELL's price/quality relation. I won't ever buy overpriced devices from HP, FSC or Toshiba. That's my point.
I also think that this site and community is most helpful and good-natured among other.
And one questions please. How can I turn out this red blinking twinkling power button while device's power is less then 20%? :rolling:

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you're right. I would also want to change wi-fi cessation if power is less than 25% to another value.

Good try though!

Good try though!

but you can choose flash light...
and display message ...

but that would than also be for appointments i think :(

so this should do the real trick:

How to create a Low Battery Warning event in your Sound & Notifications Settings

This is the only way is to turn off the warning if you want. To do that you can go and change your registry key in this way:

Look for:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A87
7D663-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}

And create a String Key

Default="Low Battery Warning"

Then do a soft reset.

Doing this change you will have a new notification option in your Settings\Sound and notifications called Low Battery Warning.

Thank you, although I did this registry changes I have no ability to stop this flashing. If I check on "flash light for" in "Low Battery Warning" in Sounds and Notification options then power button flashes by green and red colors by turns. If I check off this notification then power button flashes by red light as before registry changes were made. :rolling:

I have tried everything to stop that light from flashing..but to no avail. Does Dell know about this "bug"

Also, when my Axim disconnects from active sync, I get a nice ring telling me so, but not when it connects to active sync...and yes, I have set my options in the sounds and notifications tab...probably another minor bug.

It's not a bug it's a feature. It might "bug" you but MS built it that way.

Tweaks2k2.NET does allow you to change when it blinks. Just be sure you have the latest non-lite version.

When you go to Start > Settings > Sounds & Notifications click on the Notifications tab. The first thing you'll see is Activesync: Begin sync. Make sure the play sound box is checked and a sound will play.
