Where is synched data on my pc?

Somehow I wound up creating 4 different synch profiles - the synch program is ver confusing and leads to creating new profiles without realizing it. My contact list that was entered painfully using the axim virtual keyboard is somewhere on my pc but i lost it from my axim. For the life of me, I cannot figure out where on my pc this data is sitting.

Anyone know under what folder/name I can find synched data on my pc and how to restore it to my axim? Rolodex is beginning to look like advanced technology.

In WIN98SE.......other versions may vary.

Open WIN Explorer and expand:

C:\ (or wherever Windows is) > Windows > Profiles > (Your Profile) > Application Data > Microsoft > Activesync > Profiles

The path for XP users is: c:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Microsoft\ActiveSync\Profiles\

Wow, I still can't find my profiles. I run XP and in c:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Microsoft I only have IE and System Certs. Can someone tell me the profile extension so I can do a search for it? I even searched for the folder Profiles, the Axim profiles didn't show up... Strange.
