Question Messages disappear from in-box?

I can’t put my finger on it exactly, but several times now all the messages in my Axim’s in-box disappear. At first, I thought it was only when I read them, but I just tested that theory and the read message remains.

Any idea what’s going on?

All theories welcome.

Thanks,
Mike

Do you sync your inbox with your computer? Maybe you are deleting them on your computer which in turn deletes them from your Axim.

I just checked, but am not syncing the 'in-box' on either pc.

Very odd.

It just happened again: I had 5 messages in my in-box. I checked mail, and the 5 are gone, and the one new message is in the in-box.

Very Odd.

Any ideas?

(1) Are you accessing the mail exclusively on your Axim?

(2) Unless you've selected to "Keep message on mail server" (or something like that) on your desktop then once read a message from your desktop it will be removed from both the mail service server and thus your Axim the next time it accesses the server.

Way2Go!! That is exactly the solution. I indeed have told my Axim NOT to delete the messages from the server. It makes total sense when you explained it that way.

THANK YOU!!!!
