What's the best DivX player for the X30?

What's the best, highest quality, DivX movie player for the X30H? I did a google search and it didn't take me anywhere. PocketDivx didn't work at all, and it doesn't even support WM2003 or the Axim X5. It can't even play Divx movies with an MP3 filestream. I've tried PocketMVP, but it's getting old and it plays movies so choppily on my X30 that My old X5 beat it by nearly 10fps, so it obviously isn't to compatible with the 2003SE OS (What is it these days? Nobody's compilin' fer the new OS!! Everything is so slow and laggy, argh!)

So, what can play DivX movies the best? Or is there even anything out there?!!

Note: DivX offers the highest quality, fastest compression with the least filesize. With quality and size that has been proven to beat Windows Media, why the heck isn't there anything out there to play it?! My Axim's definately fast enough if an X5 at 200mhz can play full speed (my X30 can't at 624mhz).

Betaplayer, Betaplayer, BETAPLAYER!

http://betaplayer.corecodec.org/

The 0.4 version is great, and is listed as stable. But, the 0.9 version released today has worked very well so far on my X30 - the benchmark results are crazy.

Get it!

Dude, using BetaPlayer I was able to play DivX over WiFi from mapped network drive! movie was in original resolution (BetaPlayer scaled it down on the fly) and it was smooth, using 90% of my 624MHz CPU :)
If I reencode movies for 320x240 with highest quality, BetaPlayer uses around 33% of CPU power. Best Player there is! :-)

damnit, i can't keep up with betaplayer. They keep releasing a new version so damn quickly that i seems to be uninstalling and reinstalling every week. Betaplayer kicks ass.

But do you notice difference between stable 0.04, unstable 0.082 and unstable 0.09?

ya, support for one. Betaplayer now plays MPEG, MPC, WMA, WMV, MPEG audio to add on to all the other codecs it supported before. Now i don't have to use WMP at all :) There is also Raw Framebuffer support now which increased performance even more. Little things here and there added. More then enough to update every time.

It's been said before, but allow me to restate the answer:

Betaplayer.

It's all you need for AVI playing. It surpasses WMP and PocketTV and PocketMVP on every level. You can even do benchmarks and see how fast it goes....

Pretty damn impressive!

BETAPLAYER is very good on my X30.It plays my favorite scifi series downloaded for normally watching on my 32" television perfectly. I dont have to squash it down to 320 x 240 for the axim .....

Still working with the 0.9 version, with the WMV add-ins. I watched all of "Waiting For Guffman" this afternoon (a WMV I created with DVD-To-PocketPC a while ago). Worked perfectly.
