How to Stop "Connectivity" Popup?

When I am using my Axim X30, and it is not connected to a computer or a network, I keep getting the following popup:

Connectivity

Please set up a network to connect to either work or the internet.

-OR- I get:

Cannot Connect
Cannot connect with current connection settings. To change your connection settings, tap Settings.

Any thought on how the heck to get these annoying popups to STOP?

START - SETTINGS - SOUND AND NOTIFICATIONS - NOTIFICATION TAB - Go to CONNECTION ESTABLISHED, and uncheck "Display message on Screen"
