does anyone know of any programs like Documents To Go (which is avaiable for PALM only) that are for pocket pc. I have alot of excel files that I would like to be able to take with me on the go but they have passwords built into them. With pocket excel you can't open password protected files....and the only software I have been able to find are ones that let you view but no edit the files...anyone have any suggestions?

Check out the offerings from softmaker http://www.softmaker.de/index_en.htm. Passwords are the least of your problems with pocket excel; just wait until your formulas, charts, and comments are deleted (no warning, no notification, just gone). Planmaker is an excellent program, as is textmaker (a vastly superior substitute for pocket word). They aren't cheap (although there are some very good sales from time to time), but they are worth their cost even at full price.

I can't beleive how @#$%$%& screwed up microsoft is..........if it wasn't for the ability to use 3rd party software, pocket pc would be utterly useless.......

Yes you can...sort of...

Open the Excel file and remove the password on your desktop. You can then transfer the file. Once it's on your Axim you can reset password protection from within PExcel.
