There is no application associated....

I have downloaded a couple of games from binaryfish.com. I downloaded them directly to my Axim X30. I have found the programs but when I attempt to execute them I get a dialogue box stating" There is no application associated with (the program name)". Run the application first, then open this file from within the application. What am I doing wrong and what do I need to do to run the application.

I'm interested in an answer to this question too. I've had files that aren't associated with an application, but there is no place within the application to select the files to be opened. Kind of frustrating.

The programs need to be installed. Very few apps can just be copied and run. At the very least they need to be unpacked. What is the file extension of the application packages you trying to run?

Are you sure that these are executables that are designed for Windows Mobile, or maybe you need to execute them on your PC to install them via ActiveSync. What kind of files are they?

I think that I may have figured my problem out. I first downloaded the application to my Axim_3 folder. There I unzipped or executed the file. Then I activesynched it to my device and everything worked out well.
