Playing MPEG's on PPC!

I have several MPEG's that I wish to watch on my X30 High, but despite trying Real PPC, Win MP 10 (PPC) and BetaPlayer, none will play the MPEG format.

Is there any way I can quickly convert the short MPEGS's into AVI's?

BetaPlayer should play it for sure, there is also PocketMVP
But yes there is also a simple free encoder that will encode it to Divx (avi)

By far one of the BEST encoders around, and it's FREE:approve:

Within BetaPlayer settings you can set it to associate with what filetypes you want. Its a nice program that doesn't go associating every filetype upon install.
Did you try running Betaplayer then open the file that way?

How could I forget about PocketTV too

I just started using BetPlayer because I wanted to play video across my WiFi instead of loading them onto my Axim.
Beta Player works great for me.

I use pocket mvp and it works well. However, I do not recommend using it in SE landscape mode. Sometimes it works, but usually not. It has its own native landscape mode which works great. I usually save mpegs to my storage card before viewing.

It was kind of a trick finding the most recent copy of it, however. The first few places I found it had older versions.

Regards,

Artuk
