Currently I am using the macos panther theme. I hate Apple but this theme just looks so damn good.

I tried downloading one of the Themes by some guy named Lightman http://www.lightman.pdahit.com/ and had nothing but troubles :hide:
Is there a readme / help guide to installing these themes? Seems like they changed alot in this latest revision. Not a whole lot of info on Lakeridgesoftware's site either. An instruction manual would be handy.
For now I'll stick with SPB Pocket + .... I've already got a headache from trying to figure out Wisbar

I like wisbar however when its loaded it seems to interfeere with MS Voice command. I think its because the microphone icon can not get onto the status bar. Anyone else have problems w/ wisbar & MS Voice command ?

I had Wisbar installed on my Axim 30 H and it was nothing but trouble. Software that is that buggy doesn't get a second chance.

^^^^look at post #6 in this thread.
Sellitman, X30 is the first PPC to come out with the new OS so not many if any were fully compatible, you were taking a risk installing it. The software wasn't buggy on X3i because it was running the older OS but this beta supports the new OS and has run perfectly. Wisbar is too great to pass up.

I will check out what version I used but as I recall the version I tried was for the 2003 SE edition.

I like the Pelmar Wisbar combined with TD Launch. I had all sorts of problems with the Lakeridge one, including lockups and a refusal to work very well in landscape with 2003SE.

It was in the themes section on ppc4you.com, under 3d art. One of the first 5 pages I believe.

Thanks very much, I'd not seen this theme site before.

1st let me say I have been using wisbar 2 through its developement and it has been great. Its still in pre release but it should be final soon. As for available skins all of the skins being referenced in this thread are for version 1. Version 2 handles skins differently and maybe the cause of problems some are experiencing. There are only a few version 2 skins out w/links on the lakeridge site (everyone seems to be waiting for final release before making skins for it) There is a way to import version 1 skins and convert them to version 2 but I'd wait till the final version if it is a lengthy process.

HighTymes, how did you get the menus to cascade. When I created a folder in the programs directory all I get is large icons-- I like the look of yours better.
Thanks.

So you did this?
"To really take advantage of the cascading menu goto file explorer and goto windows---start menu---programs. Make new folders in there called like communications, system, games, etc and then take all the shortcuts in that programs folder and put it your new folders."
Do you have your cascading menu turned on in the wisbar settings under config my settings?
