Axim as Remote Media controller??

Hi, As i have mentioned previously i want to use my Axim High to play media files on my PC remotley, I understand there are several programs to control Media Center and WinAmp, Just wondering if anyone had a reccomendation?

Also as the Axim has a built in mic, is there any way i could use this to select media files? It would be great to just say "playlist blues" and have the music play from my pc which serves multi-room music around my house, Too ambitious maybe?

I use Rudeo MCE Control to wirelessly (WiFi or Bluetooth) control my MCE PC interface from another room. I transmit my MCE through a video transmitter to a TV in a room other than the one my MCE PC is in.
This software duplicates all the features of the IR remote that comes with a MCE PC and more.
I have been very happy with it. It is a little pricy but the application is very professional and feel it is worth the money.

I have MS Voice Command installed on my Axim X30H. You can use it to play and control music using the Windows Media Player on your PPC. I do not think you can play playlist using MS Voice Command but can play based on Artist, Album, or genre.
I can use it to launch and exit the Rudeo MCE Control but not for any of it's functions.

Yes that looks great, Another step closer to my own personal utopia (ie never needing to leave my couch) Just need remote job and remote toilet to be invented!

I use VNC. Install the server on your PC and the viewer on your PPC link up and your all set. You can control the entire PC. This is how I control the wireless speakers I have set up downstairs that are linked to my computer(winamp) upstairs. (No exercise for me!)

IMPORTANT - you can't use the latest version (4.0) because it is not compatable with the PPC viewer. Download and install the next most recent version. Works just fine.
