Taskbar on the x30

Is it possible to get a windows taskbar on the bottom of the screen for easy switching of programs? I don't really enjoy the built in dell program that much.

Thanks

If you install Wisbar Advanced 2 you can make the top taskbar do what you want. Plus you can change the look of it and it adds the "X" does close out program feature.

the new version for wisbar (for 2003) does not work correctly on my x30 - I had to remove it again for some reason.

Does anyone know how to delete old items from the start menu after applications have been erased? Its annoying that they are still there...

As everyone has told you about programs for the TOP taskbar, I thought I would answer YOUR question about the BOTTOM taskbar :)

I use iLauncher this allows you to have up to 12 different lists that you can add to the bottom task bar, that you can easily switch between - does a great job - and it still being actively developed. You can also have icons displayed on your today screen as well.

Hope this helps.
