Streaming media

I've read many posts that say that streaming media is possible. However, I have tried this and can't get it to work. Should Windows Media Player automatically open? Should the link be opened from WMP? I have tried both ways with several streaming music sites and can't get anything to happen...any hints??

I have no problem streaming shoutcast streams to GSPlayer over wifi on my X30Mid

I tried GSPlayer using the shoutcast servers - its great, but there'sa slight problem - it won't try to reconnect if the wifi signal got interrupted. I use today player for shoutcast and it does reconnect itself. I still use both occasionally, for digitall-imported's shoutcast server. :)
