using ms reader for ebooks... problem

hello.

Downloaded the lastest MS reader software and have it installed on my X30. When I go to activate it (at MS website with X30 in cradle) it get the following error message:

Activation Error

You have an older version of Pocket PC which does not support Activation. Activation requires Pocket PC 2002 or later.

Soooooo what now? I am sure someone else has activated MS reader... help. Want to read

You don't normally need to activate MS Reader to read most eBooks. If you do have an eBook that "requires" activation, just uninstall the newer version on MS Reader. Do a soft reset and open the eBook in question. If it asks you to register, then register it by following the on screen directions. :approve:

Don't most purchased e-books require activation?
