x30 high vs x50 mid differences?

Ive been trying to compare on which one to get the x30 or x50

X30:
Intel® XScaleTM Processor at 624MHz with WMMX
One Integrated Secure Digital / SDIO Now! / Multi Media Card
64MB Intel StrataFlash® ROM

and the x50

Intel® XScaleTM Processor at 520MHz
Integrated CompactFlash® ROM and Secure Digital / SDIO Now! / MMC Memory Card Slots (3.3v)
128MB Intel StrataFlash® ROM

it is an 85 dollar difference I know there must be other differences than that but anything major?

is that the only difference thats all i have been able to find 85 dollars for cf support seems high. now i am really leaning towards the x30 with some extras.

I think it all boils down to the looks - do you care to spend 85 bucks more for the sleek curvy body. I don't believe the slower speed of the x50 makes any real difference.

the proc speed isnt a real issue i only use it for calendar, email, mp3's and very rarely play a game other than solitaire I just hate making decisions like this i never want to buy the wrong thing. I do have an x3 now and am very very happy with it so x30 is the way I am going to go!!

I've compared systems some and all I can see different between the X30H and X50M is:

X30H has a faster 624mhz processor

X50M has dual media slots (CF&SD)
X50M also has the 128 rom, the 128 rom is pretty nice too as it must leave more usable mem free on the X50M compared to the X30H

Dual slots and more rom/ram is worth right about 85$ but as I already own a X30H I can't settle for anything less than a X50V to replace it.
Buying one today between the X30H and X50M I would go with the X50M.I could use the fatser 624mhz cpu but there is a pretty good chance one could overclock the X50M if you had to

There are coupons available for X30H, but none available right now for the X50 series. With coupons, you can get a X30H for $250, so the difference really is $150 between X30H and X50M. Also, we know X50M is going to be shipped only around mid-Nov. So the chances of getting a X30H sooner is much higher than getting any X50.

By paying $150 more to buy X50M, all you will get is an additional CF slot, additional 64MB ROM and a lower CPU. If you don't need the CF slot then my suggestion is to go for X30H.

I am also in the same boat as you are. My situation is made more difficult by the fact that my camera uses CF so it would be nice to have a CF slot Axim. But I don't think that it is worth to pay $150 more just to get an additional CF slot.
