Spare Battery Pins?

Hi, I bought the spare 1800mAh battery from Dell for my X30. On The cradle in the spare battery slot there are 5 pins total..and on the battery there is 5 contacts ...Isn't there suppose to be a red light that comes on the cradle when charging that spare? I put the battery in but nothing happens? Or does the spare light only come on when it's not fully charged?

Yep, a light will come on when a battery is in e charging slot: orange when charging, green when done.

Make sure the battery is fully seated - it will 'click' into place. (A firm push should be sufficient... don't break anything!)
