outlook 2003 contacts-problem with sync

Axim x30 with Activesync 3.7: I am using Outlook 2003. The contact list on my desktop will not complete sync (only 4-5 out of 50+ will cross over). The inbox will however.

I have uninstall and reinstall Activesync, performed soft and hard resets, checked the options tab in Activesyn, and reset the partnerships.

Any suggestions of what is wrong?

Does it give you an error message? What does it say?

No error is reported. When I watch Active Sync, it appeared to sync, but I only end up with 4 entries instead of the 50+ I current have in Outlook contracts on the desktop.

Run the Inbox Repair tool (Google Search) and repair it if it finds errors. Then, try syncing again. You can also look at your ActiveSync logs to see if you can pinpoint the problem. Search your c drive for wcesmgr.*, and the log file s ould be found.

I think I am doing somethng wrong. I have added contacts to the Axim and they are syncing to my desktop but not the other way (to the PDA).

I will also do the above.
