MSN Messenger doesn't work after update

I've nerver succeed to get MSN Messenger connected. (I've got my X30mid for 2 weeks).It keeps giving me a message that service is unavailable. 10 minutes ago I downloaded and installed update from mICRO$OFT. They say this is exactly to solve this problem. But unfortunatelly :( it did not.

check if your clock is right. i remmeber if you didnt' set the clock and date right it prevents you from logging on msn...

is ther an msn update ? what changes does it offer.
