SPB Pocket Plus Problems and partial solution (Problems fixed in version 2.5!)
Just recently when I hold down my stylus on the close button I no longer get a menu, the battery indicator disappears and the close button no longer works. I have to soft reset to get it working again. This hapens with both version 2.1 and the recently released version 2.2. Is anyone else experiencing this? I have the A05 ROM.

Logman02 it's good to know I'm not alone. I sent in a support request to SPB earlier today. You might want to complete one also so that SPB knows this is not an isolated incicident.

I have also had some strange things going on with SBP Pocket Plus ever since I upgraded to A05. It is isolated to PIE, the history on the SBP menu is foobared. I was going to enter a support request today. I was running 2.1 and upgraded to 2.2 but it did not help.

Same here. I thought maybe PIEPlus was causing my close button problem so I uninstalled it and started using the PocketPlus PIE options instead. all i'd see were some squares with a number in the center of the open pages history. I'll be sending in a request about this too. Thanks for reminding me BLHJr.

Yup, I have that same problem after upgrading to A05...

I got a reponse from SPB, they say this shouldn't be happening with the new release (Version 2.2). I told them that while the splash screen you see on installation still says 2.1.0 the about info says 2.2 build 1649 in the program itself. I miss my menu options. I also included the page history fubar info within PIE in that reply.

I tried to search for the foobared entry in the registry but could not find it. I figured I would try to remove it manually and then see if the menu would rebuild itself properly, but no luck. I noticed the Splash screen error also. It reports 2.1 during install but the actual install is 2.2 as you mentioned.
I have been havingthe same problem and what I had to do for the moment until spb fixes it was to disable the close button feature and use the dell switch. Its no too fancy but gets the job done.
Hopefully there is a fix son because I tried Wisbar 2 and I think it is much more unstable than pocket plus (obviously when Pocket plus was working). I like the skins od Wisbar 2 but the program just didnt work that well for me. I got tired of having to tap the start icon several times just to get the right menu to drop down.
I never ntoiced how much I use some of these programs until I have to stop using them. I have a nice little pit where the close button is and now that I am using the dell task switcher I am making a new pit
That could work but seeing as how the close function actually does work I can wait and see if SPB will come out with a new build. I'm actually running a mucho slimmed down version of what I used to have installed with the old ROM so a hard reset wouldn't be that big a deal but I think SPB will come through.

Funny. Mine works fine. I'm still running version 2.1 though so that might be why. Another difference is my settings. To close, I set it for a tap and hold, to minimize a tap and to bring out the menu is a gesture.

Good luck people!
I'll give it a try.

No joy, Thanks for the idea though. tap and hold seems to be the culprit If I tap and hold the x stops working period.
