VPN to Cisco PIX

Hi there,

Sorry that this is another post, but have spent 3 days with no luck so far. Also have trawled through posts to no avail.

Have successfully set up vpn using pptp protocol to cisco pix firewall, using pocketpc intergrated vpn client. However when connected, I cannot ping anything inside the network. Have added ip address (192.168.25.*/*) to the exclusion list and has made no difference.

I've bought the Dell Axim X30 as a trial to test vpn connectivity / terminal server setup and if all goes well, I'll be buying more pda's for our support staff.

Am I missing something?

Many thanks

Dan

Hey, I am looking for the same thing!!!

Have you successfully connected to the pix?

What type of client did you specify? What kind of pix do you have?

We are running 501 and 506e's here.....

I can connect to the PIX ok, but still cannot access the inside network - i.e. cannot ping anything or use terminal server, etc. it's definetly a routing problem as the gateway is specified wrong.

We use 506e here and connect using the microsoft vpn client installed with pocket pc 2003.

It seems that quite a few people have the same problem, but hey I'm not giving up on this!

I'll add my muscle to bump this up and keep it around. Same problem here, we are running a windows VPN through work, but when I attempt to connect with the builtin vpn settings, I get no indication of a connection.
