Button mapper

Has anyone used ButtonMapper or any other application like it to reassign their buttons for a specific application? If so, which one did you use and how did you like it?

There is a basic one built in..
start - settings - buttons

The onboard one is limited. I was hoping ButtonMapper or some other program would work with each program independently.

I purchased ButtonMapper and it worked well until the A05 upgrade. At this point, I can use the buttonmappings I previously had, but I can't access the screen to change the buttons. I've reinstalled it again... still nothing. They said that they're researching the issue. I gather you can try the demo and see what happens.

Previous to upgrading to A05, the only thing missing was that there was no screen rotate function like the OS button mapping applet has... I downloaded the freeware program which activates the OS screen rotation and mapped it via ButtonMapper and all was fine.

The macro recording mode requires many retries to get things correct, as you have to record the macro blindly (try it, you'll see what I mean)...

Besides that, I really like ButtonMapper.... It can do universal or per-app mapping...

I just use the default button program under settings.
