i had my axim replaced yesterday. i restored from a backup on the storage card. today i tried to play some tunes on wmp and it's not finding any of my music or skins. i have about a gig of tunes spread across 3 sd cards. wmp isn't finding any of it.
i notice that my new unit came preinstalled with wmp10 and rom a05.

You mean like everything???? That sucks. This is what happened last time they upgraded the ROM. You would think they would have thought about that ...

I did the same as you and I had to reinstall all the software. IF youjust want listen for now you can install GSPlayer and it will play the tune until you find time to reinstall everything. I did that too.

WMP10 SUCKS!
IT won't let me copy about half my music to my Axim.

Unfortunetly, most of my music is encoded in wma format to save space. I think that means I can't use GSPlayer or BetaPlayer ...
