How do I keep the connection not available from popping up?

I'll be in the middle of a game, and bam it comes up and interupts the game. None of the wireless connections are on.

It shouldn't pop up if you don't have the connections turned on.

that's the thing, it's not? Maybe, better yet how do I make sure it is not turned on?

Do you have email set up? If so, then it (or another application) is configured to regularly connect and check for new mail. Check your settings. (I can't be more specific as I don't check email on my Axim.)

The settings are in Accounts, Accounts, select the name of your email account, Next your way to the 4th page, Options, Uncheck the box "Connect and check for messages every:" box on the first page.

Note, this will happen whether you've opened the Inbox or not. As an alternative to unchecking the box, I've found it will not try connecting if you make the ActiveSync account active before you close the email or leave your wireless network.

thank you, changing the settings on email fixed the problem.
