Question ActiveSync auto-restarting with BT

Hi -

I have an X30high and all works ok. I use Activesync to sort email, calendar, contacts etc and it works fine. When in the cradle on USB Activesync connects automatically.

When I leave the house I sync using Bluetooth. When on Bluetooth then I have to go to Bluetooth Manager and double-click the connection. If I power off and then on again I have to go back to Bluetooth Manager and reconnect again. Bluetooth remembers to switch back on after a power reset but the connection remains disconnected.

Is there a way to have the BT connection restart automatically on power on? Or is this my job from now on?

Please accept my apologies if this has been discussed before (I couldn't find it on searching)

You might be able to find a program that will start a BT connection at a specific interval but not when you turn the Axim on. Part of this is because the Axim never really turns off....just goes into a suspend mode.

I just set up my BT today. I also see what you are saying. You can set the interval with which to sync from the Desktop side, but nothing that will automatticlly connect the two devices without telling it to do so.

yes but activesync needs to be running in the background in order for the remote schedule sync to work...activesync wont open on its own.
