time change settings

I traveled to the Boston last week (I live in los angeles) and when I change the "clock" to east coast time, it changed all the appointment times I put in the days I was in Boston to three hours ahead. Does this mean that I have to put the appointments in the time I'm going to be in while I am still in LA? Boy I would hate to set up appointment times in Europe while I am here in the states. Very annoyed. kate

here is what i do...

Hey buddy-
Here is what i do when i visit another time zone. Off of your today screen tap on the time icon (where it says the date). this will bring you to the Clocks and Alarms setting. Tap on the visiting and fill in all the info. Works well for me being a pilot. Good luck!

you can also access this setup thru: Start > Settings > System > Clock & Alarms (Under the time tab)

But when you do this, all the appointments are shifted to the new time zone, even though the appointments are set up to be example 9am regardless of whether it is EST or PST or whatever.
Is there some way of not having the appointments shift?
