I need a good gps receiver and good software

I note that the GPS Lite isn't WAAS-enabled. If you can possibly afford it, try to get a WAAS-enabled system, there are a couple of them listed on the page that you linked to. WAAS will give you better precision.

I purchased the Belkin GPS bluetooth receiver on ebay for $130 & received maps for all of US and Canada. It works great with my Dell Axim X30h...

i took have the belkin GPS receiver and software...$140ish for me, and very satisfied.
