well the memory on my axim x 30 high displays as only half a 512 storage card displays a 256 i just formated it from the axim and still 256mb display
its a kodak sd card

Try a soft-reset with the card inserted and check again.

nope still 242 mb ty any other ideas?

Sync up and look for Folders called Found or MSMETADATA on your card. Delete those and take a look. Do you have a card reader? If you do run a scandisk on the card and reformat at 32.
