Password protect SD card

Does anyone know any good programs out there to password protect my SD card? I have Resoe file viewer, but for me to set a password I have to encrypt the data. For various reasons, I do not want the data encrypted, just password protected so if I lose my axim, nobody can access the SD card. Any suggestions?

I would think that in order for a password to be effective, the data would have to be encrypted... otherwise there is nothing preventing you from going "around" the password. But I do not know much about how that actually works... I only have my assumptions.

Does kindof make you wonder what the "secure" part of secure digital is supposed to mean.

I wish there was a fast and effective way to secure your sd cards. It seems like that could be a potential hazard for any pda user.
