Does activesync automatically make backups, and if so how do I access them?

I installed the WisBar Advance 2 demo, and my X30H started acting really strange. So I did a hard reset, assuming that activeSync would, like Palm Desktop (This is my first PPC after years of using Palms), make a full backup of my device everytime I synced. Before I hard resetted I backed up to a SD card, in case something went wrong, but I cannot use that backup because the device is totally screwed up (so screwed up that activeSync wont even start up on it.) Are backups automatically made everytime I sync, and if so how can I access them? If not, what can I do?

If you did set up your activesync to "do backup everytime you sync," then you just have to do "restore" to get your ppc back to your last sync.

Otherwise, you have a brand new X30. :-)

Regards.

According to your statements, you should hard reset the unit, reinstall the software and when everything is done and running OK, do a backup. Keep this backup in a safe place so you can always go back to it if needed. (good morning Rob)

If you want automated scheduled backups, try Sprite Backup. You can even schedule it to perform a backup when the battery drains past a certain point.
