Windows Media Player 10 issues

I just did the rom update to my X30 and now the version is A05. Win media player will not play, or regonize any mp3s. Another thing I have noticed is that the defult skin for the media player is not automatically loading as well. Has anybody experienced this before, and what did you do to fix it?

Lot's of folks have experienced this problem. It's caused by restoring a backup from a different ROM revision onto the new one. There's a thread about a fix on these boards somewhere where the author says he fixed it without hardresetting and re-installing everything but it only applies to WMP10 for Pocket PC AFAIK. No one knows what other progrmas may act wonky when you restore a backup from a different ROM revision onto a new one

This is A bit off topic but I Have a new Axim X30 624MHz and Media Player 10 was installed from the factory. I had a hard time trying to get video to play but thanks to some Good People on this site,that indicated that I would have to play (.wmv) files through the player. I tried it and they work great. I store them on my SD card, not in the unit.
