Besides a Remote Control...

What else can the IR port do (not sending data files/recieving them) ? What apps can I use? :rolling:

I've heard of connecting to a cell that has infrared to get to the internet and also infrared modems....

If you've got two ppc's or know someone with one, there are some games that can be played via an IR port... yahtzee, and battleship are two that i can think of right off

I have a printer that has an IR port on it, and I use it to print directly from my PPC.

how about beaming contacts, or business cards, back and forth with other pda users.

Lol yeah, but I want to do cool stuff! Like flooding the IR to open up cars or reverse the mircrowave frequency to program it, or even to spam IR signals to have conversations with aliens! ;)

dunno abt the other stuff, but it would be pretty cool to remote start my truck and have keyless entry and stuff
