Exclamation ignore_my_docs -What does this mean?

:exc:Its been here for sometime now. In my Built-in Storage I keep getting this message: ignore_my_docs and when i delete it it comes back can smeone help to Delete it and tell me whats it for. :exc: Thank You

Whe a directory does not have a 'My Documents' folder, it will create (and recreate if deleted) this file. The best way to get rid of it permanently is to create a 'My Documents' folder. Your system will work better as well since apps will look for files in this folder first.

You can also use it to speed up open dialogs in some apps. if you do not want a direcory browsed to save time, add this file to it.

Actually, I think it is reversed. The ignore_my_docs is supposed to signal to the application that no My Documents folder exists so it then HAS to inventory the entire area of storage for the file it seeks. If My Documents exists, it only looks in that folder, which is faster. I could be wrong, but I remember reading that somewhere. My own experience is that having a My Documents folder seems to make opening files faster.
