Can't install any files---help!!!

I have an Axim X3i and I am not able to install files either via activesync (3.71) or via my wi-fi. Everytime, I get the, "this file is not a valid pocket pc application" when I know it is. Suggestions?

Welcome to aximsite!
The .exe should be run on your pc, with your axim in the cradle. The app will be installed on your axim thru activesync connection.
EDIT: Almost forgot - read Gigi's tutorial on installing / uninstalling programs.

Thanks for the warm welcome, but that's just the point that software won't install thru activesync

What is the name/version of the app you are trying to install?
What OS version on your x3i?
