Once the rip is done go into the folder you had the files save to and delete everything but the VERY large vob file. That file is the actual movie. Change the extension to mpg and then you can start to encode.

This is emphatically
NOT a good idea. PocketDivXEncoder (an excellent program BTW) needs the .IFO file to determine the size of the encoded .AVI file. Without it, you cannot adjust the encoded file size to fit your CF or SD card.
There is equally no point in changing the extension of the .VOB file. It achieves nothing.
In any case there is no point in deleting these files. Once the encoding has been successfully completed and you have checked that the .AVI file plays correctly, you can then delete
ALL the files produced by the Ripper.
