Battery Change gives me memory error

Hi

I have a Axim x3i and i have two batteries so when i get the message say my bttery is ruuing low i swop the bettery.

I turn the axim off and then relase teh battery wity the "PEN" then add the new charged battery I then get the following :

A black screen with white text

"We have detected a memory error please press (calender symbol .. i think) to restart i do this and it restarts but Pocket windows then says there was a loss off power and data may have been lost ?????

The batrey meters say my back battrey is normal anmd woudl last for 30 mins so what am i doing wrong ???

HELP ...
