Hopefully waxwing will visit this thread with his list of PIE enhacements. I use a program called multiIE myself.
Using your devices landscape mode allows better webpage viewing.

I hear Don't Panic shout and I jump...
Reensofts PIE Plus (and they have a new version 1.3 which is even better, watch for it to be released in the very near future) allows more than one window at a time plus includes the ability to fool web sites into thinking you're running
IE6 on a desktop, check it out and try the trial at:
http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=10692
ftXp can add certain things that are usually desirable and it's free, but hasn't been upgraded in a long time and needs it.
Southway Corp.'s MultiIE which adds a lot to PIE, see and try it at:
http://www.southwaycorp.net/multiie.htm
for ftXp, see:

Better yet, try all 3 and make your choice and hope this helps.
Another one that is pretty decent is Netfront v3.1,(supposedly they have a new versions to come out this year that will cover some of their weaknesses) trials are also available on it but it is a bit pricey and while I own it, I don't really like it after using it for a while. Here is the delvelopers link tho, take a look:

Another freebie, not really a browser but a service somewhat similar to THawk in that it renders web pages for use on a PPC or Palm or whatever for that matter. Here's their link (I use in the subscription version) it works quite well:

Try all of them
For prime mobile sites, go to(on your Axim or Desktop): www.pdahotspots.com
This site has a 1000 + mobile sites and you'll find something on every subject you can think of to look for.
Have fun:approve:
