Need help with AvantGo / memory card issue

I recently upgraded to ActiveSync 3.8 and AvantGo 5.7. Now, sometimes when I open AvantGo, or simply power on my Axim 30H, I have a pop-up window indicating that the memory card has been removed or deactivated by the system and AvantGo needs to close. A soft reset corrects the problem. QUESTION: I installed AvantGo to the storage card, as I have in the previous releases of AvantGo. Perhaps I need to install it in Main Memory?

It's not putting Avantgo on the memory card as that works fine. I suspect you need to reformat your memory card but kind'a hard to say for sure by remote control.

When bondr006 told me AvantGo had a new version out, I put it on my SD card. It worked fine, but the only negative was that if I had a different SD card in the PPC while syncing, ActiveSync looked for the program, couldn't find it, and came up with an error telling me I had to upgrade.

So, I moved it back to main memory so as not to have this problem.

I've also had no luck with AvantGo updating with wi-fi...and I haven't figured that one out yet...but I will.

If you installed the activesync upgrade AFTER the avantgo upgrade, you need to reinstall the avantgo 5.7. I found that this solved my avantgo problems... (and there is a note on one of the help pages at the avantgo site to this effect).

Okay. So how do I format my SD card? Will my data be restored on the next synch? Thanks...
