Question Magnetic Scrolls Interpreter?

Anyone know of a interpreter to run those old Magnetic Scrolls text adventure games on an Axim X30? There's an interpreter for the Palm OS called Kronos, but I haven't been able to find one for my Axim. Any info is appreciated!

Best,
Tracy Jo

wow.. talk about coincidence... I was just looking into something like that earlier today. Are you talking about the Infocom games? Those and a lot of others ran on Z code. I still can't find any of the games themselves, but here's a link to a Z code interpreter page that has a version for just about every OS you can imagine, including WinCE.

Scratch that idea, not only is the download link farked, once I found one that worked, the program won't install because it's not designed for the version of win CE that I have (WM2003SE).

That's not exactly what I was looking for (Magnetic Scrolls used some weird format different than Infocom), but I think I can help you in your search for a working Z-Code interpreter for Pocket PC. ZipCE is the best one I've found, and it can be downloaded here:

http://mirror.ifarchive.org/if-archi.../zip/ZipCE.zip

There are also a HUGE number of free (and legal) Z-Code games available in the Interactive Fiction Competition Archive here:

ftp://ftp.ifarchive.org/if-archive/games/zcode/

I highly reccommend Graham Nelson's game Curses--it's even better than the old Infocom Games.
