Change background image transparency

When i go to Start > system > today and click "Use this picture as the background." It applys the image but makes it too transparent for my tastes, how can i make it so its darker and closer to the original picture?

download microsoft's theme generator for free. Allows you to take a photo and adjust the transparency to what you like. Dont have the exact link though, but you should be able to find it somewhere at pocketpc.com

...or, if you want to be lazy, just go to the pictures program that comes with your ppc, select your image, go to tools>set as today wallpaper. Then, you can set your transparency level.
