Is this normal behavior?

Is this normal behavior or am I addicted or maybe even crazy. Since buying my Axim about 6 months ago here is all the software I have bought to put on it:

SPB Pocket Plus, CalliGrapher, True Toolbar, Pocket Informant, Phatware PhatNotes Standard, Resco Utilities (Explorer, Picture Viewer, Stickies), Valksoft Space Reclaimer, Pocket Mechanic, eWallet, Handmark 4.0 Student, Handmark Oxford Dictionary, CarsoCalc, Mileage Wizard, Handmark Trivial Pursuit, Handmark Yahtzee, Xen Interstellar Flames, 9.95 Solitaire Pack, C-Eon Software Arcade Pack, and I’m even considering Total Remote right now.

The thing is, I use almost all of it. There isn’t a program on the list I would give back if I could. Even the games are great for when I have long trips or to entertain people in a waiting room or while waiting for a table at the restaurant.

But it gets worse…

Also because of my toy I purchased the RhonoSkin case, WriteShield screen protectors, a 1GB SD card, and BT phone (Motorola V551). And oh yeah, I can’t forget the extra charger cable.

I am picturing myself in a support group. “My name is tiger splash and I’m addicted to my Axim…”

Wait, I forgot my one very unfortunate purchase. As an avid user of the Franklin Covey system back when I used paper I stupidly bought there PlanPlus software. That was an expensive mistake. Once I tried Pocket Informant (because Plan Plus broke and wouldn't work and I couldn't get any customer support) there was no going back.

But anyway, that was even more monies spent. I think I have a problem.

Well many of us have done the same over the same period of time. You just want it all at the beginning. Nice set of software though :approve:

That MojoSmoke and Endorphin Tickler Chip are gonna wreak havoc onya!!!!

.
.

You will be spending lots of Quality Time with your new best friend..........speaking of spending.........hold your new friend close to your nose and get a real good whiff of Bubba Mike's MojoSmoke. It's the secret voodoo smoke that Bubba Mike puts into our Axims. It is allowed to slowly escape and entices us to continually max out our credit cards on accessories and software.

MojoSmoke escapes through special release vents, one is usually near the top of the device Code Named “Mic”, the others are along the stylus side and are not explained in any way. These vents are connected by a VooDooWormHole that allows a convection current to pass over the Endorphin Tickler Chip before passing out the Axim at the opposite end of the Worm Hole.

To intentionally activate the Worm Hole, take your least used Credit card and make the sign of the Dollar Sign several times over the screen. Several Credit (or Debit) Cards in one hand and an Axim in the other can only lead to an increased release of MojoSmoke, which can only lead to one thing.......Maxed Out Cards!!

And actually touching any $$ Card to the Axim....well, the magnetic stripe on the card will put the Endorphin Tickler Chip into HyperWarpTurbo Mode (with 7200RPM nano-fans engaged), which only increases the effect of the MojoSmoke.

Please use caution when handling your Credit Cards around your Axim! You don't want to be embarrased by having your Card rejected on your next Big Night Out, do you? Or having to explain to the Pants in the Family (especially if they're Culottes or Capri) about all those charges to Handango, RhinoSkin and CompU$A, etc..........

You will be amazed at what you will find yourself wanting to do! Visiting sites like Handango PPC and Pocket Gear, Searching AximSite using the magical words:

favorite AND program* OR application* (make sure you check Titles Only or you will be overwwhelmed)!

MojoSmoke cannot be replenished into an older model, and unless you have found a 12 Step MSA Group, you will be hopelessly caught in the loop of needing more, More......MORE!!!!

And when it runs out (and it will run out), you are then left with a craving for the next newer (and more expensive) model of Axim most certainly, just recently, released onto the market.

As an example: Please locate any post by User multpda, in the following thread;

Rumor: VXA 624mhz 128mbram 64rom 3.7' screen VGA mode

And you MUST ALSO IMMEDIATELY begin the Quest for the Perfect Case!!!!

We bid you Welcome and wish you Luck, Godspeed and the ability to work much overtime!

Ahhh.. Mojosmoke explains it all. I understand now. Somehow I feel better. The only disturbing factor is if this can be considered the 'support group' LOL

But as long as the behavior falls into the realm of normality I am happy. I was starting to think I had a problem.

I think these Axims should be sold with the warning "Posession of this item will cause you to memorize your credit card numbers."

Perhaps there is a class action is this...
